Above are my Oxford-design shoes.
They cost a bit over $100 alone and under $20 for the laces.
I am 10 and a half wide. I'm just breaking them in.

Doc martin doesn't make half sizes or wide sizes and the string that holds the sole to the rest of the shoe frays. In short: They suck. I've owned Doc's in the past and they were terrible.
If only my shoes were steel-toe, steel sole and studded so I wont slip on the black ice in the winter. It sucked when it happened at the start of the year. I never thought anything about a 'Tibia' until after my slip and fall LOL! (I broke my ankle).
